Talk - Lapses of responsiveness: Their characteristics, detection, and underlying mechanisms

Speaker:

Dr Richard Jones, Director of the Christchurch Neurotechnology Research Programme based in the Van der Veer Institute for Parkinson's and Brain Research will be giving a fascinating talk on micro-sleeps. What they are, their causes and how they impact you.

The talk is starting at 6.30pm but feel free to turn up early. There's a number of us that are there from around 5pm. :)

We're aiming for a 40 minute talk with Q&A following. Then general conversation on anything you like with anyone that will listen.

Please note; the venue for the talk has changed. The Twisted Hop have a new room downstairs called No. 8. We've booked this for the talk. It is set up for presentations in the same way that the top floor is with one important difference. The Hop doesn't need to put on extra staff which means no extra cost to them, which means no extra cost to us. All the advantages of upstairs without the fee. :)
