Posting standards

Hey all,

The following is a suggested guideline for getting some consistency in the subject headings for posts in this forum. These are not hard and fast rules. I'm open to suggestions for alterations and extra sections.

Timely information

These posts cover things that are considered news. Something that if not covered ASAP will become irrelevant reasonably fast.
Subject: [NEWS] post title

Article

These posts cover the preparation and research for things that are not time critical. e.g. investigating CAM in ACC.
Subject: [ARTICLE] post title

Interviews

Fairly self explanatory.
Subject: [INTERVIEW] post title

Call on Researchers

This is a shout out to the podcasters that have offered to do research. Post as much detail as you can. Any links that you currently have, details on the content of your article/news/interview that may assist with with finding links to the appropriate sources.

If you have already recorded your article encode it to mp3/ogg and upload it for the researchers to download and listen to if that will assist them. While the lossless audio files are good for mixing the final podcast, the files are really quite large.
Subject: [CoR] post title

Regarding posts; we are able to upload files and have them attached to posts so as people complete their parts of the podcast they can edit their original post to upload and attach the file. This will give a central point where others can download and listen to the file. I'll add the facility to have it playable in an inline flash player later. At the moment though, this should do the trick.

Finally, when posting in this forum, please untick the Post to Twitter box. With this being a private forum there is little point announcing it to the world via the @SitP account.

Regards,
Gold
