The next fortnightly meetup is on a Tuesday. So those of you that can't make Mondays, here's the one for you.

New Groups

The Skeptics in the Pub in New Zealand is steadily growing in numbers and locations. We currently have new meetups happening in Auckland and Wellington. If you know anyone there that is interested point them to these urls;

Aucklands first meeting is happening on September 10th. Kylie Sturgess of the Skeptic Zone podcast is passing through Auckland and will be attending.

Wellington has yet to organise their first meeting. I'm hoping to have that one happen on the evening before the Skeptics Conference 2009.

Website

With the new groups starting up I've setup a website as a common location to gather resources, post blogs, forums and aggregate local and other blog feeds. I'm going to keep the Meetup sites going. The event and RSVP systems are very well thought out. I would like it if people used the forums on the new site instead of the ones on meetup.com though. It'll allow for an easier discussion among all the groups.
