An over worked friend was talking about science journalism while I was walking home the other day. As it happened I'd just listened to Episode Twenty-Five – The Second Embiggen Book Review Show of The Token Skeptic podcast. The final book was on topic so I offered to edit it out so she wouldn't have to hunt through the full episode for the relevant bit.
So last night the topic of gender neutrality in the likes of policeman vs police officer came up and, unsurprisingly, I have an opinion on this and thought I may make a blog post detailing said stance.

Victoria University is distancing itself from a course it is offering in the controversial alternative medicine homeopathy.
The course "Homoeopathy: increasing your health awareness" is being offered through its Community Continuing Education programme in a one-off two hour lecture.
